Photo taken July 20, 2019 in Kingston, Ontario. It has not been edited or enhanced in any manner. The Easter cottontail rabbit is common throughout eastern Canada. They thrive in suburban backyards where there are shrubs snd low trees for cover. They will nest in open areas by having their young in small indentations in the ground and covering it with grass. Once in an area you may luckily have many rabbits.

Guy Dine is retired and lives in Kingston, Ontario. He travels 10-12,000 Kms each summer around the United States and Canada photographing its bounty of natural beauty, animals and culture. He has been a generous benefactor to the World Wildlife Fund, Ducks Unlimited, and various animal shelters and rescue centres. Please respect and preserve our natural world.
